The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, a public, land-grant, Sea Grant, a space-grant university founded in 1851, enrolls more than 51,000 students. The flagship of the University of Minnesota System, the University offers more than 300 undergraduate and graduate level programs across 19 colleges and schools. The University is an associate of the Association of American Colleges.

A variety is offered by The University of Minnesota of online degrees. Students can complete the majority of the programs fully online, however, many programs require on-campus appointments.
